Life has been sooo busy this fall. And it always gets busier in Nov...there are lots of birthdays...and Michael's is one of them. Along w/ my Dad(who turned 60 on Thanksgiving day), my big bro Lee, his daughter Sami, my little Bro Adam, my nephew Cyrus, and last, but not least was the addition of an extremely sweet baby boy, Lane Michael Long. He is a cutie and I love him!
We have so much to be thankful for. God has always provided for our needs and always goes beyond that to allow us some wants too. Michael took a job w/ some wonderful people we have known for a long time...the Coleman's. It's definetly different for us but good. Our favorite part is that they are Christians and they love the Lord. We have worked for the opposite before and it's hard. It's taken the girls awhile to adjust to not having Dad around as much but they do get to go work w/ him on certain days and they do let him off to go here and there...chasing his crazy wife around to Thirty One events or to ropings!:)
I am thankful for our youth group kids...I enjoy working w/ them and it seems like God teaches me something every week just by studying my devotional for them! It's amazing how he does that. I still have so much to learn. I LOVE the girls he has brought into my life...can't wait for more adventures w/ them!
Sydney is now reading and is sooo excited that I have to finally say, that's enough for today, when doing schoolwork or I wouldn't get anything else done. It's exciting to see them learning! Lilly is so smart as well, and Jimi has to be right in there and has learned alot too! It's challenging teaching them at home but so rewarding as well.
Michael and the girls went out to find a Christmas tree tonight...the last few years it seems they head out when it's dark and it happened again this time. They found one alright, and it's nice...but HUGE!:) The girls had a blast decorating it..Jimi put all her ornaments in one spot, which made the older girls upset...I just said I would take care of it when they went to bed...just like I did when they were little. :)
December brings more birthdays...Alexa's, Sydney turns 6...and the most important one...Jesus'...yay!:) It will be busy and it will be fun! I love my life!!!
